Matthew believes in the power of great creative. He talks about it all the time, proselytizes it to clients and has built a team dripping with talent. The Voice reflects his tenet that the answer is not social networking and marketing automation — those are just tools. Great advertising was, is and always will be built on great ideas.
In addition to a 25-year career as an advertising creative, he also studies the History of Advertising. Matthew believes it is the best reflection of society’s values at any given time. He has taught the topic for many years at colleges such as Fairfield University, Yale and the School of Visual Arts, New York City. His dual background created the foundation for The Voice, a fertile environment where talented professionals thrive and clients profit.
Senior Account Manager
Years of experience in public relations, communications and integrated marketing helped Vince help clients to build brands and grow revenue. Business development and ROI from the Communications function are his core focus. Vince’s strategic message management skills have been honed over decades of C-level counsel. His capabilities include message development; branding; marketing communications; campaign research, strategy and execution; team-building; media relations; and channel development.
Sam was our first international intern and graduated from our internship program in June. His curious mentality and academic background make him a strong addition to the team. As an account coordinator he is a capable at multi-tasking and is continuously involved with every project at the Voice. Sam manages to find the necessary information when put in a situation where he doesn’t know, “I love to be thrown in the deep end and quickly finding answers”. Starting September he will start his Master’s in marketing at the Rotterdam School of Management. While in school Sam will remain apart of the team and work remotely with The Voice.
Video Production Services
Dan came to The Voice via Sacred Heart University’s Masters in Communication program. After a successful internship at The Voice, he has quickly become one of the firm’s most sought-after and successful talents. Technically listed a hybrid swingman, working in both the account services and creative departments, Dan has increasingly applied his talents in our burgeoning video production department. He comes to The Voice after years honing his skills as a director/cameraman for a variety of clients, including Killington (VT) ski resort.
The Voice teams with a number of world-class developers for back-end coding. Our favorite is AES, which specializes in web & mobile applications, digital marketing and hosting solutions. AES has tremendous experience in web application development technologies such as PHP/ MySQL, Java, open source CMS, E-commerce, ERP and mobile applications such as android, iPhone and responsive web design. Our partner AES is also a Microsoft certified professional developer.
Kent started at The Voice as a summer intern which paved the way for him to become a part of the the apprentice program. He has approached every task with initiative and determination. Performing quickly and efficiently under pressure is when he thrives. Kent is currently a senior at the University of Bridgeport majoring in Public Relations. He wants to one day work as the marketing director for a non-profit. His interests include video production and twiddling on the banjo.
Meredith joined the Voice team as an intern, and later became a member of our apprentice program. Meredith also works as a social media specialist for a small business in Orange, CT but is an aspiring copywriter. Aside from working on her book at The Voice to pursue her career in advertising, she spends most of her time seeing live bands, visiting art galleries and baking. Meredith is also a musician and has been playing multiple instruments for almost twenty years. Once her book meets her high standards, she will begin her job search at agencies around the country.
Under the tutelage of Voice senior staff, you’ll learn how an ad agency operates, what is expected of different roles at the firm, how to interact inside and outside the firm, what apps are used and skill sets required, and most importantly, how to help clients Sell More Stuff.
